Engagement for the community – actions instead of words

The fifth "Johnson & Johnson Community Week" took place during the week from September 10 to 14 with around 600 employees in 10 Johnson & Johnson locations across Switzerland. The employees had the opportunity to get involved in various projects for charitable organizations.

Johnson & Johnson has been organizing Community Week in Switzerland for five years. Through various programs, the company supports local communities and promotes sustainable development that goes beyond the company's social and economic contribution. During working hours, employees can participate in various local projects and charitable organizations. The projects range from forest work to integration projects. The number of charitable activities and participants is increasing every year, underscoring the extent to which employees live social responsibility.

The "Johnson & Johnson Community Week" was a big success for all participants: employees and colleagues from different departments and levels could work together for a good cause and gain an insight into a new working world. For the partner organizations, it was the ideal opportunity to give an in-depth insight into their diverse work.

Social commitment in the DNA

The credo, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, encourages all Johnson & Johnson employees to put the needs and well-being of people at the center of everything they do. Johnson & Johnson's social commitment therefore takes also place beyond the Community Week. Various charitable activities are organized or sponsored throughout the year. "As the world's leading healthcare company, it is our responsibility to give something back to the communities in which we live and work to have a positive impact. Employees at all levels bear this responsibility." says Emelie Dorlin, Community Impact Lead Switzerland.
