Learn to love neurodiversity! New partnership with autismus deutsche schweiz

Share

At Johnson & Johnson Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are cornerstones of the company’s Credo. J&J believes in collaborating with organizations that have a positive social impact. In this context, the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies in Switzerland is proud to announce a new partnership with autismus deutsche schweiz (ads), the largest non-profit organization in Switzerland, supporting and advocating for people living with autism and their caregivers.

Did you know:
In Switzerland, Autism Spectrum is prevalent in 1 out of 100 people. Many people have not been diagnosed, and therefore don’t understand what causes their stressful situations and don’t get the support they need. Autism is a lifelong condition that affects people from all backgrounds. Stress is often caused by sensory issues (for example sounds, sights, smells, textures).

Autism describes a different way of thinking, feeling and perceiving than most people do. Each person is different and has varying support needs. People with autism face many challenges, but they also have unique strengths and abilities.

Ads will support Johnson & Johnson with their expertise to raise internal awareness, support employees and foster a welcoming culture in terms of hiring and onboarding people on the autism spectrum, a neurodiversity with a different operating system that bears unique opportunities. Johnson & Johnson is committed to creating a culture that allows our employees to change the world without changing themselves.

Because Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Johnson & Johnson means - You Belong.
