Yousty – a project by apprentices for apprentices

Share

More than 60 apprentices are currently completing their training at the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies in Switzerland. The company offers apprenticeships at 5 different locations and in a variety of fields. In Zug, for example, apprentices are trained in the fields of commercial technology and mediamatics (multimedia and informatics), while in Schaffhausen they are trained as pharmaceutical technicians. Johnson & Johnson creates more apprenticeships every year in order to promote the next generation and give young people some insight into the world of international business.

To provide insight into the many available opportunities for learning at Johnson & Johnson, the apprentices were given the task of redesigning our website on the Swiss apprenticeship platform Yousty. The apprentices decided to execute the project in the form of a video. The idea of showing the daily routines of the learners in the form of a short video immediately generated enthusiasm.

After a few brainstorming sessions, the idea was finally ready. With the slogan "By apprentices for apprentices", the video is intended to create a direct connection between young people. It is meant to be a clear message from our current learners to our future learners, and to show them a glimpse into the world of an apprentice and the many opportunities available at Johnson & Johnson.

The final result of our apprentice team can be found either here or on our profile on the apprenticeship platform Yousty.ch
