Graduates

ooking to grow professionally and personally, gain hands-on experience and make a positive impact in Switzerland and around the world?

There are lots of opportunities for students and recent graduates to join us and make a difference. If you're looking for a career that leads to immediate and measurable impact, check out the wide range of opportunities we have available, including internships, traineeships, leadership development programs (LDPs) and full-time roles within our Family of Companies. Join us to advance the future of human health and take the first steps toward building a career with a purpose.

  • Leadership Development Programs (LDPs)
Our leadership development programs (LDPs) help university students get practical, real-world business experience. At the same time, you'll develop leadership and communication skills, and broaden your understanding of concepts related to your function.

Our Leadership Development Programs (LDPs) enable talented students to progress faster in various functional areas.
  • GOLD (Global Operations Leadership Development) Program
The two-and-a-half year GOLD (Global Operations Leadership Development) program combines alternating, challenging activities with classroom and online instruction. The goal is to train the next generation of managers for supply chain management, operations, engineering and quality assurance.
  • PhD Clinical Science Trainee
During the course of this PHD Graduate program you will have the opportunity to develop yourself and your skill set through a rotational program that will include a 10-month period learning about different aspects of the role of a Clinical Scientist, by taking over the responsibility of a dedicated clinical development project, and a 2-month period getting immersed within 1 or 2 other line functions involved in the development and/or launch of a new drug.
  • Step IN
The "Step IN" program is aimed at Master and PhD graduates who graduated no more than 1 year ago at the start of the program. The 3 rotations of 8 months each in the different departments give you insight into the "End to End" processes of our Schaffhausen site. You will have the opportunity to get to know the different aspects of our supply chain organization. During these rotations, you will be supported by a mentor. Through "Step IN" you will develop your analytical skills and problem-solving approaches. You will also have the unique possibility to establish a functional network within the company.

Johnson & Johnson provides products and services I'm proud of. That's why I came here. From day one on the job, even at the most junior level, I knew my voice was being heard and that I could make a significant impact on the business.

My manager truly empowered me to have autonomy while giving me guidance each step of the way. As an intern, it was humbling having a manager let me run with this.
